Anointing of the Sick

Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15)

If you are in need of the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick,

please contact anytime the Parish Office at 215-735-0600.

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is intended for all those among us who are suffering from illnesses, particularly those with a potentially life-threatening condition. It is not a Sacrament only for those who are at the point of death. The faithful are encouraged to seek the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick if they become seriously ill, will be undergoing a major medical procedure (surgery, chemotherapy, etc.) or have advanced in age.
